The International student Congress on Clinical Innovation and Medical Sciences (ICOCIMS) is an international biomedical student conference taking place in Italy, fostering scientific dissemination, career development, and networking opportunities among students from diverse geographical and academic backgrounds. We welcome undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as recent graduates, from all fields of biomedical science.
The third edition of ICOCIMS will take place in the charming city of Parma (Italy) in November 2025. The agenda will include lectures by distinguished professors, a variety of practical workshops, and career development panels. These activities will complement the oral presentation sessions and the poster session, providing students with opportunities to showcase their research.
Beyond the academic program, the event will offer social activities to foster networking and cultural experiences, including exploring our beautiful city and its delicious cuisine!
ICOCIMS, started in 2023 by a group of University of Parma students, aims to set itself as the premier (bio)medical student congress in Italy and, in the following years, among the most prominent ones in Europe. Our vision is to create a global community of students and young professionals passionate about clinical innovation and medical sciences.
Through ICOCIMS, we aspire to inspire and support emerging talents in their pursuit of excellence, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to science and the improvement of healthcare. We envision ICOCIMS as a catalyst for transformative ideas, interdisciplinary collaborations, and evidence-based practice in clinical medicine.
